QUEANBEYAN MARKETS

- EVERY 3rd SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

Queanbeyan Rotary runs the BBQ stall at these markets every month, selling soft drinks, sausages, steak sandwiches, and bacon and egg rolls. The Markets are now held at the Queanbeyan Showground, with more than 80 stall-holders, some undercover, so lots to see.

Open from 9am to 2pm - returning in February 2024.

Upcoming Events

XMAS in July

Queanbeyan Rotary has submitted an application to run a bbq at the QPRC Xmas in July Markets on Saturday 6th July.

This is an annual fund-raiser event for our Club which can be a very busy one, when the weather cooperates! 2023 was not very nice weather, so we are hoping that this year will be a successful and enjoyable event for everyone.

FIT FOR LIFE (FFL) PROGRAM AT THE PCYC

This Program is held at the PCYC on Yass Road every Thursday morning during school terms - the 7am start can be a little daunting in winter!!

The FFL activity is coordinated by the local NSW Police and the QPRC, and our Club cooks breakfast for the children before they head off to various schools around Queanbeyan. Click here for more information.

FFL Bunnings BBQs

In the second half of 2023, the FFL Program coordinators and our Club worked together to hold 4 very successful BBQ's at Bunnings Fyshwick in ACT, to raise funds in support of the FFL Program and the Youth Hub/Workspace Project at the Queanbeyan PCYC.

We have now organised with the Bunnings Coordinator, Lesley to hold FFL BBQ's for 2024 on the first Sunday of each month from April through to December. Funds raised will continue to support the program with more equipment and activities.

QUEANBEYAN TIGERS AFL CLUB - MANNING THE GATES

Our Club mans the gates in Karabar, at Aulich Park, each year to collect the gate fees for the Tigers Club, from April through to August. This requires two of our Club members from 8:30am until 3:30pm for the eight Home games, and then possibly Semi Finals and Finals as well.

It’s not hard work, but wow it can be really cold!

The 2024 Program is now available!
